Get a Bible
Choose a reliable translation such as the New International Version (NIV) or New King James Version (NKJV). Begin reading it daily, asking the Holy Spirit to guide you into truth. Regular reading and study will help you grow strong in your faith.
Take your time and find a Bible-believing church
Connect with a church that is led by the Holy Spirit and teaches the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. Look for a community that believes in salvation, repentance, healing, the gifts of the Spirit, the second coming of Christ, and living a holy life. Most importantly, a church that emphasizes walking in love and obedience to God. Look for a church where the Word is taught clearly and not watered down, where prayer is a priority, and where believers are encouraged to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus. A healthy church will help you understand your identity in Christ, build your faith, and equip you to live out your calling. It should be a place where you are spiritually nourished, corrected in love, and encouraged to mature in the faith alongside other believers.

Prayer is your lifeline with God. Speak to Him daily, listen for His voice, and invite Him into every area of your life. A strong prayer life will help you stay rooted, grow spiritually, and walk closely with the Lord.
